SENIOR FOOTBALL: Ballyduff senior footballers made the long trip to Brosna on Sunday last for the replay of the North Kerry Senior Football Championship semi-final replay but defeat was to be their lot when they were defeated by Ballydonoghue by a margin of four points. Ballyduff started brightly but were in arrears by five points at halftime but found scores hard to come by and had a penalty saved late on. He put his heart and soul into Ballyduff Football both as a player and a mentor and he certainly had some memorable moments in the green and white with none more special than his goal in the dying moments of the North Kerry Championship final in 2005.
