SE­NIOR FOOT­BALL: Bal­ly­duff se­nior foot­ballers made the long trip to Brosna on Sun­day last for the re­play of the North Kerry Se­nior Foot­ball Cham­pi­onship semi-fi­nal re­play but de­feat was to be their lot when they were de­feated by Bal­ly­donoghue by a mar­gin of four points. Bal­ly­duff started brightly but were in ar­rears by five points at half­time but found scores hard to come by and had a penalty saved late on. He put his heart and soul into Bal­ly­duff Foot­ball both as a player and a men­tor and he cer­tainly had some mem­o­rable mo­ments in the green and white with none more spe­cial than his goal in the dy­ing mo­ments of the North Kerry Cham­pi­onship fi­nal in 2005.
