LOTTO

There was no win­ner of our Club Lotto Jack­pot on Sun­day night last. The num­bers drawn were 14, 15, 16 & 20. The five €30 con­so­la­tion prizes went to D. McMa­hon c/o Jerry Mo­ri­arty, De­clan Shee­han Cause­way, Jenny Hig­gins Cur­ra­graigue, N. Galvin Tonevane and Elaine Flynn An­nagh.

Next week’s Lotto will have a Jack­pot of €4,100 and the draw will take place on Sun­day night Jan 13th in Keane’s Bar. Lotto tick­ets can be pur­chased on­line, from any club of­fi­cer or at the fol­low­ing out­lets: Sea­mus O’Sul­li­van Master Butch­ers, O’Shea’s Shop and Ser­vice Sta­tion, Poff Mo­tors, Noyeks, Byrnesworth, Rock Inn, Dwyer’s Bar, Skelper Quane’s, Betty’s Bar and Keane’s of Cur­ra­heen.

CEL­E­BRAT­ING OUR PAST, BUILD­ING OUR FU­TURE

The pe­riod 1989 - 1995 was a great time in the his­tory of our club. We won 3 County Cham­pi­onships: Novice, Ju­nior & Bar­rett Cup We won our first St. Bren­dan’s Cham­pi­onships and Leagues We won West Kerry Leagues with the Se­nior and Ju­nior teams We fi­nally won our first Mi­nor County League hav­ing played in 3 fi­nals 1987-88-89 We launched our Ladies sec­tion re­sult­ing in one of the lead­ing clubs in Kerry for a gen­er­a­tion.

In cel­e­bra­tion of this pe­riod, we are hav­ing a re­union of play­ers, men­tors, of­fi­cers, sup­port­ers and all in the St. Pat’s com­mu­nity.

Date: Even­ing of Satur­day, Fe­bru­ary 16th 2019 Venue: The Rose Ho­tel, Tralee Ticket de­tails to be an­nounced at a later date.

We are cur­rently con­tact­ing as many peo­ple as pos­si­ble and we need your help. Reach out to your friends, neigh­bours and St. Pats col­leagues for what will be a great night as we rem­i­nis­cence and look to our fu­ture.

SE­NIORS

Our se­niors have been train­ing for the 2019 sea­son for a num­ber of weeks. This year, the team is un­der the watch­ful eye of man­ager, Padraig Cor­co­ran. He will ably be as­sisted by se­lec­tors Eoin Say­ers and Sea­mus Mur­phy. We wish them the best of luck for the year ahead.

The se­nior’s first game is sched­uled for Sun­day, the 20th of Jan­uary against Ard­fert at 2pm, which is an away game in a Round 1 Lee Strand St. Bren­dans Board Se­nior Foot­ball League fix­ture. Our other fix­tures in this com­pe­ti­tion are:

JIMMY DUFFY ME­MO­RIAL CY­CLE

Call­ing all cy­clists, dust down the bikes as the Jimmy Duffy Me­mo­rial Cy­cle takes place Satur­day, Jan­uary 12th at 11:00am from St. Pat’s GAA Club, Blen­nerville.

The cy­cle will travel to Castleis­land town cen­tre and home fol­lowed by de­served re­fresh­ments, tea and cof­fee in Quanes Bar Blen­nerville. En­quiries to Mau­rice Hanafin @ (087)2998206 and Ge­orge Poff @ (087)6814799. Un­for­tu­nately due to the pro­vi­sion of In­sur­ance and Am­bu­lance ser­vices, a fee of €7 per per­son to a max­i­mum of €20 per fam­ily will be charged on the day. Reg­is­tra­tion will com­mence from 10:00am. See you there. This is a non-profit fun cy­cle led by var­i­ous pace cars. The cel­e­bra­tions will con­tinue on Satur­day night with an­niver­sary Mass in Cur­ra­heen at 7:30pm, a mu­sic ses­sion in Quanes Bar, where food & re­fresh­ments will be served. Keep the date free & come out to cel­e­brate the mem­ory of lo­cal man Jimmy Duffy. All are wel­come.
