Au­thor to sign copies of his new book in town this Satur­day

IT’S ex­cit­ing times for one lo­cal au­thor, Ai­dan Lu­cid, who will this Satur­day take time out of his busy writ­ing sched­ule to sign copies of his brand new fan­tasy novel, en­ti­tled ‘The Lost Son’.

Ai­dan, who is orig­i­nally from Bal­ly­heigue, but now liv­ing in Tralee, will be at the Ac­tion Le­sotho book­shop in the shop­ping cen­tre on The Mall this Satur­day, De­cem­ber 21 be­tween 1pm and 3pm.

The book - 230 pages in length fo­cuses on a num­ber of he­roes who are pulled from our world by forces un­known into a world known as Zar­gothia, and re­cruited to help aid in the bat­tle to free King Ar­goth and the peo­ple of Zar­gothia from a cruel op­pres­sive race known as the Sadark­ians.

Ai­dan be­gan writ­ing back in 2004 af­ter pluck­ing up the courage to send out his ma­te­rial and he was then sub­se­quently pub­lished seven times that year.

Ever since, Ai­dan has been pub­lished in nu­mer­ous lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional an­tholo­gies.

‘The Lost Son’ was of­fi­cially re­leased back in Oc­to­ber of this year and Ai­dan is al­ready hard at work on a se­quel which he hopes to have ready to go for pub­li­ca­tion some­time in 2020.
