SYMPATHY
Sympathy is extended to the Mahony Family Corballa on the death of Patrick Joseph Mahony, Leeds England (a native of Cloontia, Bonniconlon) who died Sunday March 3rd and was buried after Mass in the Church of Immaculate Heart of Mary Bonniconlon in Bonniconlon Cemetery on Sunday March 10th. May he rest in peace
COMMUNITY GAMES
The parish finals of the Art and Model Making competitions were held in Stokane National School on Tuesday 12th March. This was the first time these events were held in the school and it proved to be a major success. Castleconnor Community Games committee would like to express their appreciation to the principal Michelle Bonner, Christine Flynn and the schools' board of management for the use of their school to run these activities. A large number of competitors attended and a most enjoyable evening was experienced by all.

County U-14 Quiz: Congratulations to the U-14 boys quiz team from Castleconnor who were placed third in the County Community Games finals in Riverstown recently. The team members were: Brian Durkan, Ross Gilmartin, Ronan Wilson and Barry Mulderrig.
County Swimming finals: Best of luck to all the competitors from Castleconnor who will represent the parish in the Community Games Swimming finals on Friday 29th March at 5.30pm in the Sports Centre Sligo.
