TABLE QUIZ

The Rathcormac NS Parents Association would like to say a big thank you to all those who supported their annual table quiz last Friday in Collins Lounge. The proceeds will now go towards this year’s school tours.

GAA AMIGOS

Congrats to Sinead Regan, Rachel Quigley and Molly and Megan Brady on winning the County Sligo GAAmigos Skills challenge for the second year running. The girls were representing Rathcormac NS. A fantastic achievement.

COMMUNITY ALERT

In order to fund the new Community Alert signage and Text Alert Support programmes, the Rathcormac/Drumcliffe Community Alert committee will be asking each household in the area to make a contribution of €5. This will initially replace twenty of the existing signs with new highly visible signs warning of the existence of a “Text Alert Area” and it will also cover the cost of signing up to the “Text Alert” Service Provider.

It is hoped that the Area Coordinators will call households in their area over the next number of weeks to collect this contribution and to explain the “Text Alert” system. The committee would be grateful for your cooperation in helping them to carry out this task.

GATHERING LAUNCH

Congrats to both committees of the CosCos Festival and Benbulben Speaks Gathering events which were launched by Fr. Michael Donnelly in front of a great crowd of supporters in Collins’ Lounge last weekend. Here’s wishing them every success in the coming weeks and months.
