DEVELOPMENT PLAN

A new Tubbercurry local Area Development Plan is at the planning stage with Sligo Co. Council. This plan will have major implications for the future development of Tubbercurry and its immediate hinterland over the next 10 years.

The public are asked to study various proposals and submit their views on any aspects that are of concern to them. Proposals for new amenities and facilities are also welcome. These plans are available for view at the Council offices at Teach Laighne and the public are encouraged to engage in this very important planning process.

JUNCTION CHANGES

Sligo Co. Council are proposing major changes at the junction of Ballina Rd. and Charlestown Rd. with traffic lights proposals and changes of right of way to traffic on the N17 ( Sligo - Galway Rd.) This proposal will mean a major change of traffic flow for local traffic.

The plans are available for public viewing at the Council office at Teach Laighne and the public are asked to study same and submit any views or concerns to Sligo Co. Council as soon as possible.
