SHOW AND CRAFT FAIR

The long running Strandhill show will take place Sunday 20th July at Lisheen. There will also be a 5k cross country race which will take place at 2pm on the day with registrati­on taking place at 1.30pm. The race is for men and women over the age of 16.

In addition to the Cross Country run there will be plenty to keep the whole family entertaine­d with: Arts and Crafts, Home Industries, Home Baking, Horticultu­re, Vegetables and Flowers, Dog Show, Joe Shannon - Celebrity Chef, Tug of War, Sean Nos Dancing, Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Kiltimagh Wildlife Park, Woodville Farm, Eagles Flying Demonstrat­ion, Beehive Demonstrat­ion, Trade Stands, Vintage Cars, Entertainm­ent with DJ Scruffy Duffy, Sligo Concert Band.

PEOPLES MARKET

Strandhill Peoples Market continues every Sunday 11am - 4pm Growing every week and with great weather the market is a really great way to enjoy the weekend. Now with over 25 stalls ranging from artisan produce to surf boards there is something for every taste.

COOLERA LOTTO

MOBILE LIBRARY

The County Council Mobile Library is in Strandhill every afternoon on the Third Thursday of every month positioned outside St Patricks church, Strandhill. All you need is to be a member of the county Library and you can rent anything you like... and await the return of the Mobile Library the month after.

TOURIST OFFICE

The Strandhill Tourist Office is now up and running and Wild Atlantic Wheels are operating from the office also. Wild Atlantic Wheels have an array bikes for all ages and tastes including tandem bikes, electric bikes, beach bikes and regular bikes - all equipment included also. Call in and see what's on offer

DOLLYS COTTAGE

The 19th century museum Dollys Cottage is now open every weekend afternoon... call in and get an authentic taste of what 19th Century Ireland is like.
