PINK RIBBON LADIES LUNCH
KAREN KOSTER of TV3’ s Xposé was the special guest at the Pink Ribbon Ladies’ Luncheon in aid of The Irish Cancer Society at Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa.
Some 340 ladies attended the event on Sunday, June 22nd. The event began with pink champagne and canapés
followed by a delicious four course luncheon prepared by Kilronan Castle’s Executive Head Chef Sushil Kumar.
Ena Barret from The Irish Cancer Society was guest speaker and she made a very positive and uplifting speech.
After lunch Karen Koster hosted a fashion show by Catwalk Modelling Agency. Participants included Crescendo, Kabuki, Jewel
Accessories of Carrick on Shannon, Jennifer Wrynne Design of Mohill, Marian's of Boyle, Olivia Danielle Athlone, and Simones of Sligo. There were some amazing prizes raffled on the day. Top prize- winners were Aileen Flaherty who won a luxurious overnight stay with dinner and spa treatments at
Kilronan Castle and Aisling Doonan who won a Elemis Spa Hamper to the value of € 500. Sales and Marketing Manager Olivia O’Regan said: “The entire team at Kilronan worked extremely hard in making this event an unbelievable success with
over 340 ladies in attendance, who all looked truly beautiful on the day. “We are delighted and proud that proceeds from
the ticket sales and raffle will go to such a great cause as The Irish Cancer Society and in particular Action Breast Cancer.
“We were overwhelmed by everyone'’ s generosity and I want to extend our thanks to all parties who supported and participated on the day.”
