NOVENA
The 6th Annual Novena of Hope in honour of St. Therese of Lisieux will be held in Ballintogher Church, Thursday September 25 to Wednesday October 1.
Many distinguished and well known people will speak each night at the Ballintogher Novena including Elma and Fionnbar Walsh the parents of the late Donal Walsh, the young Kerry teenager who died of cancer and who prior to his death fervently appealed to all young people contemplating suicide not to take their own lives.
The Novena commences at 7.30 pm each night. On this Thursday night the Novena Speaker will be Frances Black ( Singers and Addiction Counsellor); on Friday, September 26 the Speaker will be Raymond O’Connor ( Project Co- ordinator of Pioneer Total Abstinence Association); on Saturday, September 27 the Speakers will be Elma and Fionnbar Walsh ( Parents of late Donal Walsh); on Sunday, September 28 the Speakers will be Sean and Ann Mulrine ( St. Padre Pio - Healing night); on Monday, September 29 the Speaker will be Fr. Michael Cusack ( Redemptorist Priest, who presided at funeral of Garda Adrian Donohue RIP); on Tuesday, September 30 the Speaker will be David Quinn ( Founder of the Iona Institute and Newspaper Columnist); while the concluding Novena Speaker on Wednesday , October 1 will be Joan Freeman ( Founder of Pieta House)
