GREENWAY FOR A DAY
Over 500 people turned out for the ‘ Greenway For A Day’ event last Sunday 21st at Lavagh. The Greenway Co- op organisers are delighted with the response on a damp day and consider this further progress in the ultimate goal of achieving a greenway for Sligo.
Walkers and cyclists, old and young, all experienced a possible glimpse of a facility realizable in the very near future. It is hoped that the Greenway for a Day event will be repeated. Thanks to everyone who helped to organize and all who attended.

Congrats to Siobhán and Ciaran McCaul, Carrickmacross on the birth of baby girl Fíadh Grace. Siobhán is a daughter of James and Mary Teresa Finan, Belra.
GAA REGISTRATION
Coolaney/ Mullinabreena GAA player registration will be held on Saturday 12th March in Coolaney Community Center from 9.45am to 11am and in St. Nathy’s Hall from 10.45am to 12 noon. A 5 euro nominal fee applies ( max 20 euro per family ). All youths ( U. 18 ) Must be accompanied by a guardian. This is to ensure that everyone is properly insured and that players, coaches and the club are protected in all eventualities.
LOCAL LOTTO
Coolaney/ Mullinabreena GAA Lotto tickets are now available from any committee member. This is the main club fundraiser for day to day expenses. Thanks to all for your continued support. All sellers are asked to return tickets this week please. Jackpot is now € 3400.
