Fatal crash driver to face an additonal charge
A lorry driver involved in a fatal crash near Castlebaldwin is facing a new charge which will be heard in the Circuit Court. Sligo District Court was told by State Solicitor Mr Hugh Sheridan that a book of evidence on this new charge would be ready in four weeks. Vlastimil Zachar of Newbridge, Kildare is already charged with driving without a certificate of roadworthiness on August 13th 2015 and with failing to take a 45 minute break after driving for hours. Zachor was not in court and the case was adjourned to March 2nd. Owner of the lorry, MDS Distribution of Naas is charged with not having a certificate of roadworthiness. This was put to April 20th.
