SCHOOL ENROLMENT

Cliffoney National School are holding their Enrolment Evening for pupils starting school in September 2017 on Wednesday, February 8, at 7 p. m. All parents and children are welcome to attend and have a tour of the school.

AHAMLISH GRAVEYARD

The Ahamlish Burial Ground Committee are organising a clean- up of the graveyard on Saturday, February 11, beginning at 10 a. m. The committee would appreciate if people would come and clean- up their own graves.

DRAMATIC SOCIETY

Cliffoney Dramatic Society will shortly start rehearsals on the Michael Joe Ginnelly comedy ‘ A wake in the west’.

VALENTINE’S TRACTOR RUN

A Valentines Tractor Run will take place in Grange on February 12 at 1.30 p. m. Starting from Gilroy Tiling, entry fee is € 20 per tractor. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Romantic Couple, Best Dressed Farmer Male/ Female, and Cleanest Working Tractor. Refreshmen­ts afterwards in Moran’s Bar, Grange. The event is in aid of the North Sligo Agricultur­al Show.

Rainbow Rhythm will perform ‘ Porridge’ in Grange Hall on Saturday, February 11, at 7 p. m. and on Sunday, February 12, at 3 p. m. All proceeds will go to CHILDLINE. A fun evening of song dance and drama is promised. Admission – adults € 8 and children € 5.

LATIN DANCE

Learn Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Kizomba and Reggaeton in Grange Hall on Tuesday nights. Starts Tuesday, February 7, for eight weeks. Cost is € 50 per person. Open to all ages. No experience or partners required.

Latin Dance Class Times are: 9 p. m. to 10 p. m. for the first three Tuesdays of February ( February 7 to February 21) and 8 p. m. to 9 p. m. for the following five Tuesdays ( February 28 to March 28)

CLIFFONEY MARKET

Next market at Cliffoney Hall is on Sunday, February 19 from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m.
