CPR/ AED TRAINING

People have been notified by text of dates and times for both full CPR/ AED training. Refresher training is for those that have completed the full training course. People are requested to respond a. s. a. p. to allow scheduling of dates times.

NEEDS ASSESSMENT

CADRA has been approved for a lottery grant to undertake a health/ social services needs assessment in the area. A steering group of all stakeholde­rs will be formed to guide and progress the project. All local groups and stakeholde­rs will be invited to inform the outcome by providing feedback/ ideas with the objective of having a system that allows people remain in own home with their needs met in an innovative and supportive system. Your views are important – more informatio­n will be provided soon.

ST JOHN’S GAA CLUB

The Gaelic Football Academy 2017, which is a five- week indoor football coaching programme for boys under- 8, under- 10 and under- 12 and girls under- 8, under- 10, under- 12 and under- 14 will commence in the Sports Complex, Cleveragh as follows:

Boys under- 8 and under- 10 on Saturday, February 11, from 4 p. m. to 5 p. m., boys under- 12 on Saturday, February 11, from 5 p. m. to 6 p. m. Girls sessions are as follows: under- 8, under- 10, under- 12 starting Sunday, February 12, from 4 p. m. to 5 p. m. Girls under- 14 on Sunday, February 12, from 5 p. m. to 6 p. m.
