DARKNESS INTO LIGHT

Members of the Ballymote Committee for Darkness Into Light ( DIL) recently attended a conference held in Galway. As this is the first year Ballymote will host the event it was great to meet with all the other committees from around the western region. This was a real eye opener and a very informative day which helped us greatly, especially in meeting people from other communities and learning from their experiences.

We would ask the people of Ballymote to spread the word about DIL which is happening on May 6. Anyone, who would like to help can contact the Facebook page or text Gerri at 087 6698418. We will be delighted to get feedback from the many who attended other events in Sligo or Banada last year and will take all your suggestions on board. Your support is appreciated in order to make this event a success.
