Sligo journalist is Ireland’s newest ‘ influencer’

-

Sligo native Darragh J. Mullooly is the latest online journalist to be catapulted into digital fame, after being signed to a top Irish influencer agency.

Originally from Killaraght in South County Sligo, Darragh now lives in Galway City where he runs Ireland’s premier entertainment, music news and events website, NiteLife Magazine.

While he has no immediate family left in Sligo he still takes time out of his busy life to return home and visit his friends from time to time.

The 29- year- old has already been nominated for two national media awards: a 2015 Irish Web Award ( Best Arts and Culture), and a 2016 Littlewoods Ireland Blog Award ( Best Arts and Culture Corporate).

In the past, he has collaborated with media brands like RTE News, Radio Kerry, and has contributed to a whole host of websites and print publications.

“I’ve started getting a ton of followers on my Snapchat account (@ mindfulman. eu) which feels a little jarring – being watched by strangers in the U. K, America, Canada, and of course, here at home.

“But it’s fun; I guess I’ve been doing something right.” said Darragh.

The writer/ editor has garnered a huge social following over the last two years, amassing almost 50,000 followers on his social media.

Darragh has also launched his newest brand, MindfulMan Meditation, and to celebrate the launch, is running free courses and classes in Galway City.
