‘ Why are there no cameras?’

Madam Editor, Thank you for raising the issue of the rubbish pile on the lane at St. Joseph’s Terrace in Sligo town. It was being ignored like all the other serious issues in the area that the Garda and the Council and the local TDs are well aware of. There are older people being kept awake at night, graffiti has been sprayed on street signs, windows are being broken on a regular basis. It begs the question why are there no cameras in the area.
