HOMELAND Winter League LAST weekend saw the Finals of the Winter League with both the A and B sections being decided. In the A final Fergal Mc Loughlin come up against Gerald Tailly. It was the man on form to come out on top with Fergal adding to his list of wins for the year. In the B final Niall walsh and David Scanlon did battle. Niall was the man to come out on top in this one. Well done to both on their wins and presentation will take place at the Captains Drive- in. SPRING League THIS years Spring League kicks off on Saturday and Sunday next 18th and 19th Feb and it will be V par. Again we will have a shotgun start so meet at the shop at 9.30. Full details of the format are available in the golf shop. 40 pts 50/ 50 THE 50/ 50 draw is an important financial project for the club. It contributes enormously to the cash flow. At present the committee involved in the 50/ 50 would like if more members got involved. The present committee feel they cannot continue unless there is more involment by other members. SMS Motors Tubbercurry super league THE SMS super league is continuing for ladies and gents. FOR ladies There is a 3 ball rumble. 4 cards to be returned and best 2 to count. This competition has proved very popular with ladies. There are ten teams of 3 competing. FOR men there is a four ball better ball competition. THERE are 5 four balls in each section and 5 rounds to be played. MATCHES can be played when all members are available. THE final of the super league will be played in April
