SCHOOL ENROLMENT 2017
St Teresa’s NS, Ballintogher is accepting enrolments for September 2017. Enrolment forms will be available from the school from February 16 to March 15. Those wishing to enrol can contact the school at 071 9164939 or call in person to the school from 2 p. m. to 3 p. m. between the above dates. Application forms should be returned to the school on or before March 16.
SET DANCING
Dust off your dancing shoes and join Ballintogher set dancing class for the Spring. Classes takes place in Ballintogher Community Centre on Tuesday nights at 9 p. m. Do come along, learn a few new sets, old sets, have some fun, chat and exercise. No partners needed but by all means bring them along.
ACTIVE AGE GROUP

The Depot Office is now open Monday to Friday morning from 9.45 a. m. to 1 p. m. We offer a full range of office services. Photocopying, typing, printing, laminating and internet access. Bingo is on every Friday night at 8.30 p. m. in Gurteen Hall There is a big jackpot- lotto raffle and big cash prizes on each game. Proceeds are shared between the hall upkeep and the local GAA Club Eastern Harps.

The INHFA believe that its unacceptable that farmers should be penalised for the Department’s obvious inability to sort out its own internal inefficiencies.
Vincent Roddy the National Chair of INHFA said ‘ that if necessary, experts in IT systems must be outsourced to sort out this mess; farmers cannot wait any longer for their wages; what other sector in Irish society would put up with this.’
24/ 7 FAMILY CARERS
The 24/ 7 Family Carers Support Group meets every Thursday from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. in the Hub, which is located in the Merenda Building Park Road and on the last Thursday night of every month in the Dartry Centre Kinlough from 7 p. m. to 9 p. m.
The objective of the 24/ 7 Family Carers Group is to provide a local organisation in which carers look out for each other and the group always welcomes new members. The 24/ 7 Family Carers Group annual membership fee is € 10 and it covers all meetings as well as group events from June to June each 12 months period.
An appeal has been made by the 24/ 7 Family Carers Group for everyone to share their details on his or her Facebook page to get out information about this local independent group. All who wishes to make contact with the group can email 24/ 7familycarers@ gmail. com.

FRANK’S BIG WIN
When it came to being a winner of the recent North Leitrim Men’s group progressive ‘ 25’ card drive in the Bee Park Community Centre Frank Dolan showed all his opponents how it is done, after he registered a highly impressive win in this very competitive event.
Following the final battle Pat Dolan and Donnacha Devaney were joint runners- up to Frank while John Kearns won the table prize. Michael Cummins claimed the progressive ‘ 25’ s’ raffle prize with Blain Feeney and Frank McGourty taking home a second raffle prize each.
OLDE TYME DANCE
An Olde Tyme social dance will take place in the Rainbow Ballroom Glenfarne on this Sunday night, February 19, between 9 p. m. and 11.30 p. m. in aid of the Leukaemia Trust in memory of the late Séamus Mulvihill.
The music for the Old Tyme social dance will be provided by the popular Mountain Fever band and complimentary refreshments will be served to all attending on the night.
