WORK AT ROUNDABOUT

Ransboro Development Association is organising a roundabout enhancement day on March 25. They are seeking volunteers on the day to help with improvement works at the roundabout beside the church.

Works will include power- hosing the five traffic islands at the roundabout and putting in new plants and flowers in the centre of the structure.

Ten flower boxes will be erected at the junction. Four of these, one on each of the approach roads, will have ‘ Welcome to Ransboro’ painted on them.

Ransboro Development chairman Clive Kivlehan said: ‘ We aim to give the roundabout and the area around it a facelift for Easter and bring a bit of colour to it for the summer’.

Volunteers are needed to help with planting, power washing, strimming and other work. If you are available on the day contact Clive Kivlehan at 087 2100481.
