Dunmoran dump outrage

THE latest dumping outrage in the county - the all too familiar sight of domestic refuse dumped indiscriminately - is this time at the back of scenic Dunmoran Strand.

Much of the content is beer cans, soft drink containers, takeaway packaging and fag packets. A reader who sent in the photos to The Sligo Champion believes such is the volume that it would have taken a trailer or large vehicle to transport the many bags of rubbish. The bags were dumped over the week- end at the West Sligo beach.
