No decision made on post office future, says An Post
An Post say they are taking the time that is required for a big decision with regards the future of Ballygawley Post Office.
Angus Laverty, Public Affairs Manager at An Post told The Sligo Champion last week that this kind of decision takes time.
“There’s no delay to the decision. We have not made any decision yet,” he said.
“It’s an important decision and we want to make the correct decision. We have to make sure we take the time needed for a decision as big as this,” he added.
The Ballygawley Post Office Action Group have been waiting for an answer since the third week of January.
