Maugheraboy Bridge

RESIDENTS are having “huge difficulty” getting across the road west of Maugheraboy Bridge.

That’s according to Cllr Rosaleen O’Grady who is looking for a new Pedestrian Crossing there. She was told by Council officials that there is no funding this year but the crossing could be included in next year’s Roads Programme.

“It’s a long time to wait, especially for elderly people who live along there. Even if we could put in some temporary measure, it’s just impossible to cross there,” she told officials.
