Phoenix players start festival circuit in March
Tubbercurry’s Phoenix Players this week begin their tour as they hit the Factory Performance Space on Wednesday and Thursday from 8pm.
With their thought provoking adaptation of Flan O’Brien’s ‘ The Third Policeman’ by Peter Davey, the Phoenix Players are ready to delight audiences across the country as the festival circuit begins.
Eamon Gallagher, Mark Dunne, Grainne Brennan, Gerry Maye, Mary Mannion, Padraic Neary, Francis Brennan, Alan Seery, Shane Keyes, Shona O’Dowd and Claire McLoughlin all star in this production.
Also involved are Catriona Coleman on lighting, Martin Lynch on sound, Nanette McDonagh, Derek Foy and Peter Molloy all backstage and stage manager Caoimhe Gallagher.
The Phoenix Players’ tour starts in Ballinamore on March 6th, with a visit to Kiltyclogher on March 9, Castleblayney on March 10, Claremorris on March 11, Ballyshannon on March 16, Glenamaddy on March 22, Claregalway on March 23 and Cavan on March 24.
They will be hoping to return to Tubber as All Ireland champions.
Tubber will play host to the confined all Ireland finals this year.
