CARD DRIVE TIES

It was case of ties all over when it came to the decision on the destination of the hard fought for first and second prizes at the recent North Leitrim Men’s group progressive ‘ 25’ card drive in the Bee Park Community Centre.

Cathleen McDermott and Ted Rooney shared the progressive ‘ 25’ card drive’s first prize and behind them there was a three- way tie for the second prize on offer between Seán O’Rourke, Lynn McGinley and Larry Flynn.

The table prize won by Aidan Coleman. The progressive ‘ 25’ raffle was won by Frank McGourty with Margaret Sweeney taking home the second raffle prize and Paul Clancy winning this event’s third prize.

The North Leitrim Men’s group next progressive ‘ 25’ takes place on this Sunday night, March 5, at 9 p. m. Sundays night’s jackpot will be € 210 on nine games.

GROUP WATER SCHEME AGM

The annual general meeting of the Glenboy/ Glenfarne Group Water Scheme will be held on Tuesday, March 14, in the Rainbow Ballroom Glenfarne.
