RECENT DEATH

The death has taken place in Manchester on February 16 of John Sherlock of Doon Rock, Gurteen He was brother of Paul, Doon, Gurteen. Sincere sympathy is extended to his brothers Paul, Patrick and Dermot and to all his relations and friends. May he rest in peace.

RECENT COLLECTION

Coleman Branch of CCE wish to express their thanks to all who contribute­d to the recent Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann Gurteen Churchgate collection taken up on Sunday, February 19, A total of € 305 was collected. Well done also to the collectors.

BINGO

Bingo is on every Friday night at 8.30 p. m. in Gurteen Hall the jackpot was won recently and started back again at € 1,600 – plus lotto raffle and big cash prizes on each game. Proceeds are shared between the hall upkeep and the local GAA Club Eastern Harps.
