Tributes paid to late Dominick Hever

The AGM’s of the Ballymote, Carnaree and Kilcreevan Cumainn were held last Thursday in Doddy’s Lounge Ballymote. The well attended meeting paid tribute to the late Dominick Hever, Carrickbanagher and expressed sympathy to his bereaved family before standing for a moments silence. Dominick was a regular at Fianna Fáil meetings and was a long serving member of the Carnaree Cumann. A number of new and younger members were welcomed to the meeting while Gerry O’Connor Sligo Ard Comhairle Rep chaired the election of officers for the three Cumann before local TD Eamon Scanlon addressed the meeting. This was followed by local Councillors Keith Henry and Martin Baker taking questions on local matters and outlining the issues they were working on at the moment. Good wishes were also expressed to Paddy Hever another long serving member.
