ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

Riverstown St Patrick’s Day parade will take place on Friday, March 17, at 2.30 p. m. Categories are as follows with prizes for first and second in each Category with a Cup for the overall winner: Most Original, Most Topical, Most Comical, Most Creative, Schools Category, Children’s Category, Best Plant/ Machinery, Best Agricultur­al Machine, Classic vehicle category, Musical/ Dance category. Entry Forms are available from Martin Bakers or any committee member. There will be a fundraiser in Seán Macs Saturday, March 11.

LITTLE BUDDIES AGM

Existing and future parents are invited to Little Buddies annual general meeting which will take place in Little Buddies Creche, Chapel Gardens, Riverstown, at 8 p. m. on Monday, March 20. Refreshmen­ts will be served.

SHAMROCK GAELS

Tickets for the 2017 Club Draw are currently available from any committee member for € 10 and any support would be greatly appreciate­d. First prize in the draw is a car. All proceeds go to the club. An under- six Nursery program this Friday, March 3, in the Coola Complex ( at school) from 6 p. m. to 7 p. m. This program will run for the month of March prior to commencing Saturday morning training. For queries contact Michelle McMorrow at 087 6157455. FREE EVENT

Taunagh National School, Riverstown, will be holding its free Book Fest 2017 on Saturday, March 25, from 3 p. m. to 6 p. m. This will include a free Workshop with author Alan Nolan, from 4 p. m. to 5 p. m., suitable for pre- school and primary school children. There will also be a Book Fair with children’s books for sale. Tea and coffee served.

COMPUTER CLASSES
