TUBBERCURRY SOCIAL INCLUSION COMMUNITY ORGANISATION

All residents in Tubbercurry and surrounding area are invited to a social evening organised by the Tubbercurry Social Inclusion Community Organisation. The event takes place on Friday, March 10, at 5 p. m. at ‘ An Chroí’ Enterprise Centre, Tubbercurry. Guest speaker from Sligo Leader Partnership, and others. Light refreshments will be served. As the population make up of our community becomes more multicultural, it is important that our ‘ New Irish’ people are welcomed into the community, rather than leaving them excluded. ALL- IRELAND DRAMA FINALS COMES TO TUBBERCURRY

The Western Drama Festival is hosting the all- Ireland Confined Drama Finals in St Brigid’s Hall Theatre from Friday, April 21, to Saturday, April 29. Booking for the finals is being handled by the Hawks Well Theatre. Season tickets and individual night tickets are now available. Phone the Hawks Well at 071 9161518.

EVENING CLASSES

Evening classes at St Attracta’s CS. Computer Aided Design ( CAD) – learn how to create 3D designs using Solid Works. Tuesday, March 7, for six weeks, 6.45 to 8.45 p. m. € 70. ( Beginners/ Improvers) Woodwork – come and learn a new skill or refresh your knowledge. Seven Tuesdays 6.45 to 8.45 p. m. starting March 7 € 80. ( Beginners/ improvers)

TUBBERCURRY GOLF CLUB

The annual table quiz will be held at Tubbercurry Golf Club on Wednesday, March 15, at 8.30 p. m. in the Golf Club. The quiz is kindly sponsored by Clifford Electrical. Table of four for € 10.

FORÓIGE

Foróige’s Youth Employability Support Service ( YESS) Programme has been initiated as a personal development support service for young adults aged 1625 in Tubbercurry and surrounding areas. The programme is suitable for people who require support to explore their education, training or employment options. Tubbercurry Active Retirement Association’s annual holiday trip is now being organised in conjunction with JMG Coach Travel. This year we are visiting Ireland North East.
