Dorrins Strand Repairs

DEVELOPERS of the Strandhill housing estate of Dorrins Strand must carry out public lighting repairs and small repairs to sewers before the Council will take it in charge.

Cllr Declan Bree sought an update and was told that the repairs were still required to Phase 1 of the development which was built by CassCon.

Phase 2 of the housing estate was finished by Greenway Construction and is reported to be in “good condition.”

Director of Services Dorothy Clarke said she expected the repairs to Phase 1 to be done later this year and hoped to recommend the entire development to be taken in charge later this year.
