Cannabis smoker fined

A man who admitted being a regular cannabis smoker was fined € 300 by Judge Kevin Kilrane. Graham Snee ( 28) of Inishfree Court, Tonaphubble admitted having € 280 worth of the drug at his home on August 15th last.

“He’s a cannabis user and unfortunately there are a lot of people like him in Ireland today and that’s the way it is,” said Mr Gerard McGovern, solicitor ( defending) who added that the defendant smoked the drug at home.
