Anti- social behaviour concerns at Mill Centre

The dark car park of the Mill Centre in Coolaney is raising fears of anti- social behaviour.

“There’s a lot of issues with the car park in darkness, fears of anti- social behaviour,” said Cllr Dara Mulvey. He was told that because it was a mixed- use development, it was “not the policy of the Council” to take it in charge.

“That is the responsibility of the Management company and the developer to sort out between them,” said Director of Services Dorothy Clarke.

Separately, the Council is proposing to use some of the bond money of Gort na Sí estate on Rockfield road to build a footbridge to connect it with the new Mill Centre.
