COMMUNITY COUNCIL

The March meeting of the Community Council will take place on Tuesday, March 14, in the Community Centre at 9 p. m. All club representa­tives and delegates are reminded to attend.

SOCIAL DANCE CLASS

Social dance classes now take place on Wednesday evenings in the Skreen- Dromard Community Centre. Everyone is asked to note the change of evening for these classes.

MARCH SOCIAL DANCE

The March Social Dance in the Skreen- Dromard Community Centre will be held on Saturday, March 25. Music will be supplied by Carmel McLoughlin with dancing from 10 p. m. Everyone is invited to come along and enjoy an evening of social dancing.

95TH BIRTHDAY

Congratula­tions to Joe McMunn Bunnafedia Dromard on the recent celebratio­n of his 95th birthday.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Congratula­tions to all the local children who recently took part in the County Community Games Table Tennis and Draughts competitio­ns. The under- 16 girls’ team of Salome Bournes Hannah Higgins and Orla Reilly won the Silver Medal. The Mixed under- 10 Draughts Team of Trevor Horan Manus McManus Matthew O’Grady Lily O’Grady Caomhog McManus Euan Finnegan Darragh Finnegan and Jenny Horan won the Silver Medal. The under- 14 Mixed Draughts team consisted of Teddy Kilgallon Hannah Higgins Aoibheann Kerins and Emma Finnegan and the Boys U 16 Table Tennis representa­tives were Noah Bournes Teddy Kilgallon Canice Mulligan and Gary Moore

HEAD SHAVE

Sarah Collery Larkhill Beltra thanks everyone who supported her in the recent head shave fundraiser. To date, this sponsorshi­p has raised € 2,500 for the Irish Cancer Society. Sarah took part in the shave in memory of her Grandfathe­r Henry Collery late of Larkhill Beltra. Sincere thanks to everyone who supported.

FUNDRAISER DANCE

Tireragh Branch of parents and friends and Cregg House Sligo are holding their annual Fundraiser Dance in the Diamond Coast Hotel Enniscrone on Thursday, March 16, music for dancing will be supplied by the Duets with dancing from 10.30 p. m. to 12.30 a. m. All funds raised will be used to help People with Intellectu­al Disabiliti­es.
