Book of reflections transporting people back to childhood

NOLLAIG O’Donnell’s book of sketches and reflections will take you back to your childhood.

Nollaig will be signing copies of ‘ Something Within’ in Veritas, Sligo, this Thursday from 12- 3pm.

“My book is a book of sketches and reflections. I’ve always sketched and written and everywhere I go I bring my sketchpad with me. Friends of mine spotted this and they said it would be lovely in a little book but I’m a very private person,” she told The Sligo Champion.

“Eventually a friend said to me that this really brought them back to their childhood so I went with it. I self- published in 2015 and Veritas re- published in November 2016.

“Different things strike people differently. It’s not necessarily religious but it is spiritual.

“This is my first book and I’m working on another one about childhood recollections and a novel.”
