2 THREE THURSDAYS: BOOKS AND WINE The popular Books & Wine event returns this Thursday the 23rd of March at 7.30pm with guest Geraldine Duignan, who will share William Trevors, The Children of Dynmouth’ ( Winner of the Whitbread Award and shortliste­d for the Booker prize). 3 BLINKERED This Thursday the 23rd of March, Sole Purpose Production­s bring Blinkered to the Hawk’s Well Theatre. This play deals with one young man’s difficulty with depression and is suitable for audiences aged 15 and upwards. The Samaritans will be present at each performanc­e. 4 MICK FLANNERY Mick Flannery is back on the road performing new material from his new album ‘ I Own You’ which features some of Mick’s finest work to date. He will play the Hawk’s Well Theatre on March 24th at 8.00pm. This album is a step away from previous releases, something Mick differenti­ates between his own albums. 5 CANARIES Irish couples travel to the Canaries on a package holiday in a bid to escape from their surroundin­gs. Everybody arrives in the happiest of colours and the best of form, however, things soon start going wrong. 6 INGLOT PRO SHOW Limited tickets are left for the Inglot Pro Show, tickets only 15 euro ex delivery, buy yours now. Taking place at the Clayton Hotel from 2- 5pm this Sunday the 26th of March the girls from Inglot will be doing looks on each other showing how they create some of their amazing makeovers. The road show is open to everyone not just make- up artists.

7 FREE BOOK EVENT Taunagh National School, Riverstown will be holding its free Book Fest 2017 this Saturday, March 25 from 3.00- 6.00pm. This will include a free workshop with

author Alan Nolan form 4.00- 5.00pm suitable for pre- school and primary school children. There will also be a Book Fair with children’s books for sale. Tea and coffee will be served.

9 ROOM ON THE BROOM Join the Witch and her cat on their mission to defeat the dragon in Tall Stories’ magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler this Sun 26th at 2.30pm and Mon 27th March 10.00am & 12.30pm at the Hawk’s Well Theatre. The Witch and her cat are travelling on their broomstick when they pick up some hitch- hikers - a friendly dog, a beautiful green bird and a crazy frog. But this broomstick’s not meant for five! 10 MOTHERS DAY MUSIC Celebrate Mothers Day this Sunday the 26th of March with music from Stuart Moyles taking place at Higgins Lounge Culfadda. A great evening of music and dance promised. Everyone is welcome and there is no cover charge.
