8KM RUN/ JOG/ WALK

The annual 8km run, jog/ walk in aid of Gallagher House Services, Tubbercurr­y, will take place from Kilmactigu­e Community Centre ( beside playground) on Sunday, April 2, at 1 p. m. Registrati­on will be from 11.30 on the day or pre – registrati­on can be made before 4.30 p. m. on Friday, March 31, at 071 9120624 or by calling into Gallagher House Garden Centre. ENNISCRONE/ KILGLASS GAA

INTERMEDIA­TE – There was a false start to the season last Sunday when the inclement weather claimed our intermedia­te team’s opening fixture of 2017 against Tourlestra­ne in the Abbott Cup. Their first game in the competitio­n will now be a home game against Cloonacool next Saturday at 5 p. m. in Quigabar. Best of luck to everyone involved.

MINOR – The amalgamati­on of Enniscrone- Kilglass/ Easkey takes place again at minor level this year. Their first outing is at home to Owenmore Gaels on Monday, March 27, Good luck to everyone involved.

UNDER- 16 – Our under- 16 team received a walkover from Easkey last Sunday morning in Division Two. They will play Tourlestra­ne on April 3 in round two.

UNDER- 14 – Our under- 14 boys host Shamrock Gaels in the opening round of the Division Two league next Sunday morning at 11 a. m. in Quigabar. Best of luck to everyone involved.

COUNTY SCENE – Well done to Josh Ellis, Ciaran O’Dowd, Eoin Hallinan and the Sligo minor team on their second successive win in the Connacht Minor League against Roscommon last week. Josh played at full back, while Ciaran was a second half sub. They host Leitrim in round three next Saturday evening.

ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

Congratula­tions to the organisers of a fantastic St Patrick’s Day parade in Enniscrone last Friday. Despite the poor weather there was a great crowd in the village. Well done to our under- 14s and organisers of our float which was awarded best volunteer float in the parade. the Skreen- Dromard Community Centre. Table of four costs € 20. Please come along and support.

BELTRA COUNTRY MARKET

The next workshop at Beltra Country Market will take place on Saturday, April 1, and will be a guitar open mic and beginners workshop with Steve Hannigan. This workshop will tale place in Beltra Hall from 10 a. m. to midday.

SOCIAL DANCE CLASS

The Western Drama Festival is hosting the all- Ireland Confined Drama Finals in St Brigid’s Hall Theatre from Friday, April 21, to Saturday, April 29.
