Tubbercurry
Businesses premises throughout Co. Sligo including Tubbercurry have recently received correspondence from the Valuations Office in relation to commercial rates reviews. In many instances, commercial rates demanded are being increased significantly which will be a catastrophe for business viability if implemented. Already, many businesses in Tubbercurry and rural South Sligo are struggling to pay the rates demanded and any increase will be another nail in the coffin for businesses in rural Co. Sligo. An appeals mechanism is in place if you are not happy with the new demand, and this should be exercised as soon as possible, and at the latest within 40 days of receipt of the demand note. Tubbercurry Chamber of Commerce are available for consultation for a united approach to the Appeal Process. Further information can be had from Roger McCarrick, phone 087 6810848, or call to the office.
