1 SKATE- A- THON The Skate- a- thon Fundraiser is being held over 24hours this Friday March 31st - April 1st at Zero- Gravity Skatepark, Doorly Park. The aim is to have at least one person skating at all times for the 24 hour duration. The event will kick off at 9pm Friday night and continue until 9pm Saturday night.

2 BRAVE NEW WORLD The Rabbit’s Riot Theatre Company presents their new production # BraveNewWo­rld, a verbatim, multi- media and interactiv­e production about the internet and its dark- side. Suitable for secondary school students, it covers a range of issues including fake news, revenge porn and cyber bullying. It will take place in the Glens Centre Manhorhami­lton. 3 PINK PAMPER NIGHT Sligo’s Pink Pamper Night is in aid of the North West Hospice will take place on 31st of March at 9.00pm in 5th on Teeling. It will be a night of pampering treats for Ladies with the wonderful Salon2 leading the way and nail technician­s and beautician­s to follow. A fashion show and stalls topped off with the amazing Mass Band!

4 WIDOWS PARADISE Everyman Production­s Sligo presents ‘ Widows Paradise’ by Sam Cree. Four widows and a single girl rent a caravan to spend a “Strictly Women Only” weekend in the Ulster countrysid­e. On settling in and about to adjourn for the night a face appears at the window followed by a loud knock on the door. Running at The Hawk’s Well this Wednesday the 29th March- Sat 1st April from 8.00pm nightly. Tickets are € 15/ 12 conc.

5 ATLANTIC SCREENING From the maker of The Pipe, Risteard Ó Domhnaill’s new film Atlantic takes on the powerful interests carving up Ireland’s ocean resources. Emmy Award- winning actor Brendan Gleeson narrates the film shot across Ireland, Norway and Newfoundla­nd. Screening takes place this Friday the 31st of March at the Model Sligo from 7.00pm. EAGLES FLYING REOPEN

6 This Saturday the 1st of April Eagles Flying will open its doors to the public again for the summer season. Opening times will be 10.30AM- 12.30PM and 2.30PM4.30PM everyday ( including Sat & Sun). Raptor Show times are 11AM and 3PM ( app. 1 hour duration) Guided tours and our unique Touch- Zoo are available from 10.30 AM and 2.30PM and are included in the admission fee. 8 LIP SYNC BATTLE Kian Egan is MC on the night as the community in Strandhill come together to raise funds for the local school in a Lip Sync Battle. Almost every business in Strandhill have a team entered for the event which will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel this Saturday April 1st with doors opening at 7.30pm. All proceeds are going towards helping fund the new extension at Strandhill National School. Tickets cost € 15.

9 TABBY CALLAGHAN Playing in Fiddlers Creek this Friday the 31th march at 10.00pm, Tabby Callaghan will take to the stage and kick start your weekend some classic and original songs. A night not to be missed!
