Damaged cell mattress

A man who damaged a Garda cell mattress has been ordered to carry out 200 hours of community service in lieu of a three month prison sentence.

30 year old Robert Browne of Maryville Hostel, Finisklin, Sligo was charged with damaging the mattress while in Garda custody at Ballymote Garda Station on October 28th 2016.
