COMMUNITY ALARMS

Cranmore Community Co- operative in their aim to support older persons in the community are presently taking grant applicatio­ns for the Seniors Alert Alarm Scheme administer­ed by the Co- op and managed by the Department of Environmen­t, community, and Local Government.

The purpose of the scheme is to ensure that older people without sufficient means continue to live securely in their own home with confidence, independen­ce and peace of mind. Funding will be available for the purchase and installati­on of personal monitored alarms. Qualifying persons must be over 65 years of age, and living alone or with another qualified person. EASTER CAMP

Cranmore Co- op Easter Camp Dates: Monday 10th, Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th, Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th April. Times: 1.30 p. m. to 4.15 p. m. each day. Cost: € 10 per child, € 5 for additional child in family. Activities: Swimming ( Beginner and Improver) and Multi Sports Activities.
