Galway Port upgrade

SLIGO County Council has agreed to support Galway’s campaign to upgrade its harbour to Tier 2 status.

Cllrs Seamus Kilgannon and Keith Henry said the development of Galway Harbour to a Tier 2 Harbour had the potential to benefit the entire region. The Council will now write to Transport Minister Shane Ross calling for his support.
