Cancer Centre

COUNCILLOR Michael Clarke has called on the Council to lobby Health Minister Simon Harris to plan and develop a new Centre of Excellence for cancer patients at Sligo University Hospital.

“I think now is the time to call on the Minister to act,” he told the April Council meeting. He was supported by Cllr Margaret Gormley and the motion was passed unanimously.
