Model secures over half Arts fund
THE Model has been awarded over half of the Council’s grants under the Contributions to the Arts Scheme, receiving ¤ 93,000 out of ¤ 182,500. The Hawk’s Well secured ¤ 45,000, Blue Raincoat ¤ 30,000, Sligo Live ¤ 10,000. Feis Ceoil and Feis Shligigh secured ¤ 7,000 each. 21 out of 26 Festivals who applied were funded and seven out of nine venues were funded. The Council approved the recommendations from the Assessment Panel.
