‘ South Sligo Snaps’ aims to inspire youth

‘ South Sligo Snaps’, a photographic exhibition by members of the local Foróige Youth Club, will be launched on 22nd April at 12pm in the library of Teach Laighne, Tubbercurry.

The project was facilitated by community artist Monica Grossman.

It aims to encourage young people involved in the local Foróige- lead youth club to express their views on their local community through the medium of photography.

This will include positive and negative impressions from a youth perspective, so there could be some surprises!

Everyone is welcome to join for some refreshments and to chat to the young artists involved. The exhibition will be open to the public for a month.
