Temple House reopens for summer

The iconic Temple House has reopened ahead of the summer period following some refurbishment work.

The Georgian manor sits on over 1,000 acres of land in the countryside of Ballymote.

The Castle Room is one of the two superb bedrooms that look down over the castle and the lake beyond.

If you stay overnight in the hotel you are offered a free boat to row over to the island, some sheep may also join you.

Temple House hosted a beautiful wedding this past weekend. Over one hundred guests came for a lovely ceremony in the garden, a fabulous meal and then mad dancing.

Temple House are now taking some reservations for dinner Tuesday- Saturday even if you are not staying.
