Darkness into Light launched in region

THE Darkness Into Light regional launch was held last week in Daly’s in Boyle.

This is the first year that Boyle and Ballymote are joining the many venues across Ireland ahead of the May 6th event.

Darkness into Light raises funds and awareness of Pieta House which offers support services dealing with mental health issues and self- harming.

Talks were given at the launch by representatives of Pieta House as well as the Boyle Committee and each venue also had a speaker.

The Darkness into Light is now fully up and running and registrations are flowing in.

Posters, and marketing material have been distributed and jam jar collections are growing bigger by the day.

The Ballymote Darkness into Light is already seeing lots of people registering.

The event is taking place at 4: 15am from Coláiste Muire, Ballymote.
