HOSPICE CONCERT

Internatio­nal singing sensations the Willoughby Brothers will take to the stage of the Sligo Park Hotel on Friday, May 5, all in aid of North West Hospice. 25 CARD GAME

The regular Tuesday night game in Community Centre commences 9 p. m.. New players always welcome- partners can be arranged. Jackpot now € 300. A good night of fun, chat and cards is guaranteed. This is the last game for the season – looking forward to seeing all our friends there.

Thank you for attending and supporting our various ceremonies over Easter. A special welcome to all who visited our parish or returned home over the Easter period. We also remember absent friends who are away from home this year. Sincere thanks to all who have helped with our Easter ceremonies. A special thanks you to our Sacristans, Altar Society, Parish Readers, Eucharisti­c Ministers, Altar Servers, Collectors and Counters. Both our Parish Choir and Folk Choir had spent many hours preparing for the Easter Ceremonies which was very evident from the wonderful selection of Hymns and music. Thank you for your time and energy to one and all.

ST JOHN’S FC

St John’s FC registrati­on for 2017/ 8 season takes place in Cuilbeg on July 5 and July 12 at 7 p. m.

CPR/ AED TRAINEES

There are now 80 residents trained in CPR/ AED in Carraroe area. Get to know the people on your road who are trained in CPR/ AED as it might be of assistance in the future. Please note the AEDs are located at the Community Centre and Football Clubhouse. The code to open is posted beside each machine.

Nursery – Well done to all who took part in the Easter camp this week and to all who completed the nursery programme in the Teeling Centre. Some future stars in the making. VILLAGE RE- DEVELOPMEN­T

Collooney Village Re- developmen­t Ltd are pleased to announce that we are ‘ Doing a Play’. Under the expert guidance of renowned director Áine Gilmore, and acclaimed actor John Caheny, we hope to run a weekend of performanc­es in November, and hope that as many local people as possible will get involved, acting and behind the scenes. LOTTO RESULTS

Collooney Village Re- developmen­t lotto results for April 12, were as follows. The numbers drawn were 2, 11, 23 and 31.

There was no winner of the jackpot prize on the night however, congratula­tions go to the winners of € 25 each and they were Mary Morley, May O’Hara and Catherine White. Well done to all.

The next draw for the jackpot prize of € 10,000 will take place tomorrow evening, Wednesday, April 26, in McKims Mace.

Entry envelopes are available in local businesses around the town and good luck to all who enter.

Collooney Bingo takes place every Thursday night in the Parish Hall, Collooney at 9 p. m. Over € 1,500 can be won on the night. Everyone is welcome to come along but remember, do come early as a large crowd is expected. All proceeds go towards Collooney Handball Club.
