SOCIAL DANCE CLASS

Social dance classes now take place on Wednesday evenings in the Skreen- Dromard Community Centre. Everyone is asked to note the change of evening for these classes.

The April Social Dance night will take place on Saturday, April 29, in the Community Centre with music supplied by Stuart Moyles.

FIRST CONFESSION

Ten children from the local Ballinlig and High Park National Schools made their First Confession on April 4, in Dromard Church in preparatio­n for their First Communion Day. Congratula­tions to Callum Finnerty, Caomhog McManus, Jayden Gilgan, Ruth Bradley, Brandon Meehan, Ellen Tempany, Kate Bradley, Riona Bonner, Grainne MacDonald and Katie Walsh. They will now make their First Communion in Dromard Church at 11 a. m. Mass on Saturday, May 13.

BELTRA COUNTRY MARKET

Beltra Country Market will host a Question and Answer Gardening Session with Charlie their resident plant and gardening specialist on Saturday, April 29, from 10 a. m. to midday in Beltra Hall and Grounds. The Saturday Market of April 22 was cancelled as a mark of respect on the death of Aleck Crichton, Carrowgarr­y, Beltra, Co. Sligo.

ANNUAL PARISH CLEAN UP

Well done to the local St Pat’s Club on their annual parish cleanup which took place on Good Friday all around the local area and to everyone who turned out to help in any way. Well done also to the Coastal Care Group also carried out their annual clean- up of Dunmoran Strand.
