Volunteer voices monthly meetings

-

AS part of Sligo’s designation as European Volunteering Capital 2017, Sligo Volunteer Centre are hosting monthly meet- ups called Volunteer Voices in cafés around County Sligo.

This month, Volunteer Voices will be held at the Glasshouse Hotel on Thursday April 27th at 10.30am. The topic this month looks at Volunteering as a Pathway to Employment and will feature guest speakers sharing insight in to how their own careers benefited from volunteering.

Ciara Herity, Manager for Sligo Volunteer Centre said: “Each month we take a different topic to discuss at Volunteer Voices; these events are an excellent way for volunteers or those wishing to volunteer to see the impact it can have not only on their well- being, but also on their career. We urge job- seekers and volunteers to come to our next event this Thursday in the Glasshouse.”
