PARISH NOTES

VISITS TO SICK AND HOUSEBOUND – Fr O’Shea will visit the sick and housebound in the Riverstown/ Coolbock areas on Thursday, May 4, and in the Sooey/ Gleann areas on Friday, May 5, HOLY HILL HERMITAGE MASS – Holy Hill Hermitage will have a Visiting Sunday on May 7. Fr Matt Blake ODC will celebrate Mass at noon, and everyone is welcome to stay for tea and a tour.

COMMUNITY GAMES

The Art Competition will be held on Friday, May 12, at 6 p. m. in Ardkeeran NS school.

The Athletic finals takes place on Sunday, May 14, starting with a fancy dress parade at 1.30 p. m.

Model- Making will take place on Sunday, May 21, at 3 p. m. in Sooey hall.

TRACTOR RUN

The Riverstown annual tractor, bike, car run is on Bank Holiday, Monday, May 1, at 2 p. m. All makes size and age of vehicles welcome. All proceeds to Riverstown playground and St Cecilia’s school, Sligo. Contact Damian Tighe for more details 086 8492377.

RECENT CAKE SALE

At a recent cake sale in Sooey Hall on behalf of Sooey School Band € 550 was raised and everyone’s contribution to the event was much appreciated.
