All roads leading to the Showgrounds this evening as Ballymote face Merville
THIS evening, Tuesday, May 2nd, all eyes will be on the Showgrounds for the U13 final between Ballymote Celtic and Merville United.
The match is taking place in the home of Sligo Rovers this evening at 6.30pm.
Both sides are expected to bring large crowds of supporters to the League final.
Underage soccer has been in focus lately with last weekend’s inaugural Sligo Super Cup seeing players from Sligo/ Leitrim take on the likes of Celtic, Linfield and Sheffield Wednesday in what was a fantastic first year of the event which highlights the quality of players dotted around the county.
Many players taking part in this evening’s final were also in action at the Super Cup and the quality of football expected in the U13 League final should be phenomenal.
The players and managers from both teams are ready for battle and it should be a wonderful footballing spectacle.
